Ray O'Connor headshetThe Indigo Board of Directors and its investors, GCP, London, have appointed its CRO Ray O’Connor to the role of CCO and Board member effective immediately. The appointment will help provide long-term sales leadership to Indigo while recognising Ray’s contribution to the success of the business to date.

In his new role as CCO Ray will focus on expanding the skills portfolio to capitalise on the current market opportunities around wireless, 5G, data centres, digitisation and managed services. Ray will play a key role in driving our growth strategy and will be responsible for continued global development and customer growth.

I am honoured and excited to work with an experienced leadership team to drive better integration and alignment between all revenue-related functions ensuring cross-functional success for Indigo’s business globally.”

Ray is the former CCO of 4site, the company acquired by Indigo Telecom Group, known as Indigo since 2019. He joined the company in 2017 and is an experienced telecommunications executive working successfully with the AltNet FTTx sector and investor base across Europe and Canada. Ray joined the company from AirSpeed Telecom where he spent over six years developing and selling MPLS solutions to enterprise clients. He also played an instrumental role in developing the market in Northern Ireland for the company. Prior to this, Ray worked with The Sunday Tribune as Deputy Commercial Manager.
