As part of our on-going drive to improve network quality we would like to invite Indigo to support our next Network Expansion project. Based on the excellent work achieved in reducing the overall defect figures on Project Beacon it is important that the data capture and on-line portal system is updated to reflect the new requirements.

Our challenge

The Network Expansion project is the delivery and installation of completely new cells sites that support the expansion of the 4G network and provides additional footprint for the upcoming 5G densification programmes.

The number of sites to be delivered is aggressive and therefore requires a smooth transitional process of thoroughly checking new sites builds against the customer standards but not holding up the process. A complete understanding of mission critical issues that will have an impact on network quality is vital.

Our solution

Indigo upgraded and re-produced the on-line audit tool “Pierian” to ensure that it reflected the customer requirements for the Network Expansion and also maintained the high speed real time connectivity for on sites engineers.

The Indigo process and unique software tool-set reduces on site auditing significantly and helps networks in seeing issues early and therefore rectifying any problems before the ‘Go live’ deadline.


Having real time access to data enables the customer to make decisions whilst resource is still on site. This offers a considerable saving in the network delivery process cycle and reduces the need for costly site re-visits.
